Being from Scotland, you could say that whisky is in my blood. For centuries, my ancestors have displayed an appreciation for the Water of Life; be it my Great Grandfathers, both my Grandfather George and Hendry, but most immediate and relevant, my Father.

I suppose in a sense, I can accredit my own passion for whisky to my forefathers and I can only hope that one day, I will be considered an inspiration to both my female and male, descendants!

Maid of the Malt was created as a form of expression and a platform with which I could share my creativity and love for photography and whisky, with other likeminded individuals, regardless of demographic characteristics.
